Dr. Silke Otremba is a Specialist in Family and General Medicine, certified by the Medical Chamber of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), with over 20 years of clinical experience. She works with an integrated approach that brings together scientific medicine, medical osteopathy, acupuncture, and chiropractic therapy in patient care.<\/p>

She completed her medical studies at the Universities of D\u00fcsseldorf, Hamburg, and Kiel as a physician in training with the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). During this time, she undertook international clinical rotations, including Trauma Surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town (South Africa) and Internal Medicine in Switzerland.<\/p>

She complements her specialist qualification with extensive postgraduate training. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathy degree (D.O. EROP) in accordance with U.S. standards, is a certified Acupuncture Specialist recognized by the German Medical Chamber, and holds the Certificate in Tropical and Travel Medicine from the German Society for Tropical Medicine (DTG). She has also completed formal training in chiropractic therapy.<\/p>

Her professional career includes work as a Ship\u2019s Doctor and Aviation Medical Officer within the Bundeswehr, experience in public healthcare, and the management of her own rural family medicine practice in Germany.<\/p>

Currently, Dr. Otremba applies her extensive expertise at German Clinic on the Costa del Sol, where she provides family and general medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture, and travel medicine services.
