Dr. Silke Otremba

Dr. Silke Otremba is a Specialist in General and Family Medicine, accredited by the Medical Association of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), and has more than 20 years of clinical experience. She works with an integrative approach that combines evidence-based medicine, medical osteopathy, acupuncture and chiropractic care in patient treatment.

She completed her medical studies at the Universities of Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Kiel as a physician in training with the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). During this time, she carried out international clinical rotations, including in traumatology at Groote Schuur Hospital (Cape Town, South Africa) and in internal medicine in Switzerland.

Her specialist qualifications are complemented by extensive postgraduate training. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O. EROP) according to US standards, has the additional qualification in acupuncture from the German Medical Association, as well as the certificate in tropical and travel medicine (DTG). In addition, she has completed certified training in chiropractic care.

Her professional career includes roles as a ship’s doctor and flight surgeon with the German Armed Forces, experience in the public healthcare system, and the management of her own general medical practice in rural Germany.

Currently, Dr. Otremba brings her extensive experience to the German Clinic on the Costa del Sol, where she offers services in general and family medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture and travel medicine. Since December 2025, she has been treating patients in Marbella in German, English and Spanish.
